Hi guys In your opinion what cities could be considered "cities that never sleep". To be slightly more specific what cities around the world could one go out at any time and or day and experience a busy/ lively, energetic scene. To clarify when I say "go out" it does not necessarily mean to party, although it certainly could be applicable. Two cities which come to mind in my limited traveling experience are Madrid and Berlin. I would love to hear any opinions
My family and I lived in New York City for several years. The first time we moved there, my dad and I went to Times Square at 2:00am. There was still plenty of people up and about. When you're sleeping, you can hear sirens and car horns all night. No matter how late it was, you could count on finding people wide and awake walking outside or driving somewhere. I always wondered where on earth people had to drive to at 3, 4 in the morning...
After being in NYC, I finally understand why it's called the city that never sleeps.
