Which sentence is correct? I often work at 4:30pm to 10:30pm, so I work at night and I work at the evening. Which sentence is correct?

Just say „I work at night and IN the evening.“ But, since you mentioned an afternoon hour first it’s seems more logical to switch it around and say „I work from 4:30pm until 10:30pm so I work in the evening (4:30 is actually a bit early to be called „the evening“. That usually starts around 6pm. Afternoon or late afternoon would be better)  and night (you could say „at night“  but it’s optional).

Hi Pikki,

The correct way to say it would be I often work from 4:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. in the evening. You can say either “at night,” or “in the evening,” because both are correct but it sounds better to say evening rather than night (this is used in more informal settings).
