NON-FICTION READERS What is your favorite non-fiction book? And why do you like it so much?

I like "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin de Becker.  I like it because it teaches you to learn to trust your innate instincts in situations to avoid violence, potential trauma, and harm.  I feel much stronger and more confident after reading this book, and I made my daughters read it as well.

As a lover of nonfiction, I would answer that I love all of non-fiction I have, even those, which I have not read yet. So, if the topic would be adjusted to "What nonfiction you read currently (recently)", I would answer: "I Am a Mathematician" by Norbert Wiener
