What is the difference between 礼拜五 and 星期五 ?
Can they be used interchangeably?

same in Chinese ，礼拜五 is usually use in oral Chinese ,but if you write down in the formal article dont use this word please

In Cantonese, we tend to speak 礼拜五

It has also another saying like 周五 which has the same expression.

There are three ways of saying week in Chinese.
禮拜 - this is the go to word in Taiwan.
星期 - this is the go to word here in Beijing, I'm not sure about the south.
週 - this is OK everywhere, but this is the most formal of the lot. If you read a formal newspaper, they will almost always use 週.
