Allomorphs Somebody may come and ask me why regular English tense ending - ed is realized as /t /,and sometimes as  /Id/ and /d/ .

I know that English teachers don't teach this to students but they have to teach it !.
Anyway!  I'll explain it in a simple way! .

• ed is realized as { t} after /p,k,f,th,s ,Ch , 
•ed is realized as {Id} after / t,d/.
•ed is realized as {d} after a voiced sound other than /d/
