English writing

I am studying English but I don't know how to take the new step! Any advice? I keep practicing my writing, but I feel that it is always the same.. How can I improve it?

Also, I try to study new words, but I can't use them in my sentences, it seems that I have my structure in my mind and I can't extend it. Any advice?

Hello Sara

My writing is also not improving, so I have been studying with youtube. I found this video "How to start sentences in your IELTS essay"

I found Mad Libs to practice new words. You can use as game or fill out the spaces as a real text.

You seem a bit further along in English than I am in any of my languages, but one thing I've done for quite some time is something I call rigorous consumption, where I watch a movie or TV show in my target language, or play a video game I'm familiar in my target language, and I stop it any time I find something interesting, be it a phrase, word, whatever, and I write it down so I can look it up later. Sometimes it's nice to sit back and get immersed while not worrying about catching everything, but other times, I feel like it can help to get a deeper look. That's just me, though, I can't guarantee that that would work for everyone.

Would you like to invite more people to your study as regular correspondence like a pen pal? that would be easier to expand the scope of your writing and enrich your vocabulary while you are interacting with some other English speakers/writers especially you are not focusing on academic writing but highlight on general writing and speaking.

Interaction with other speakers/ writers in a range of reference would effectively improve your English.
