Help with German (grammar questions)
Hello!

I am a student who is learning German and I have a short, grammatical question. I apreciate a lot if you answer.
In this sentence "Ich schreibe jetzt Ihren Namen auf das Etikett."
Why is "Ihren Namen" and not "Ihren Name"? Isn't it accusative, singular?
And my last question is, why "auf das Etikett" and not "auf dem Etikett"?
Isn't it Dativ case?

Thank you if you answer,
Elson

Namen is right because of n-Deklination. There are some nouns in German used by n-Deklination.

Auf das Etikett is right because writing is an action we do on the etiquette. If there is a dynamic action, it is usually Akkusativ in German
