DAICHI
If possible, do you want to know when you will die? My friend died two years ago. He's my college friend and his death came too quickly.Maybe he still had things left to do. They say''Death comes equally to anyone.'' However I sometimes think ''Death doesn't come equally to anyone.''Some people live long while some people die young.

You can't know when you will die. However if possible, do you want to know?

Our benighted ignorance of this day is one of life's blessings.

I’m inclined to say “yes, I would like to know when I’m going to die” so that I could plan my life accordingly. But then again, what if I was then informed that I’m going to die next Tuesday at 11:16 am? Then I think I would prefer to live unsuspectingly until that murderous moment.

This is the very killing question :)

My answer is "No". Being noticed when to die, or whatever future things, might be advantageous to spend our own lives in a more desirable way, but, as a matter of fact, we could tell "which is better" or "what is right" just retrospectively. I believe the value of life is determined not only by its outward appearance but also by its dignity that could arise just because he or she lived their lives to the full, with many mistakes, regrets and efforts. If I knew when to die, my way to live would be bound by the hindsight, decreasing the consequential amount of dignity.

This is a great question!  I can see the value in knowing, but I can also see the value in not knowing.  I think regardless of one's stance on the issue, it's an excellent reminder to live each day to its fullest!
