Developing Fluency in English Hi everyone,
I'm looking for a native speaker to practice speaking in English. I'm an advanced learner. In turn I can speak Russian to you:)
I'm interested how you develop your fluency when you speak the language. When you have reached level B2 or even C1, what do you do to become fluent?

Hi Anna! I have the same goal too. I'm pretty good in English (not a brag lol), but I want to improve my spoken English. My accent and pronunciation are good too. I'm just want to learn to speak the language more fluently. Message me if you want, we can practice together!

If you are reaching for a basic proficiency in a language, you may need more practice in listening and speaking with no need to read or write a lot, but if your target is to achieve a higher proficiency such as B2, C1 or even C2, you cannot go without reading and writing.

Good luck.

I'm a self-taught type of person ... That's said, I usually do not like taking classes for anything, and even though I never did, I've taught in some institutions already ... My english is pretty native to be honest. I do not know exactly where B2 and C1 are in the standard learning process ... Either way PM me if you feel like I can help with anything.
Good luck =)...

I can share with you some of my English learning experience.

From B2/C1, if you want to improve, you can try the following suggestion.

Learning phrasal verbs

Learning some vocabulary in different area(Medical terms, cooking, history, or even legal English)

Practice speaking with Native, and get used to the way they speak, understand their slangs.

Try to speak English to English learners from all around the world, understand their accent.

You can learn like a child --- imitate!  just pick some good audios/videos, and try to repeat what they say.  Good idea?

That's in addition to speaking with native speakers of course.
