What TV series would you recommend to advanced English learners? Hi!
I'm looking for a native English speaker to watch and discuss English/American TV series, such as Sherlock, The Big Bang Theory, Lucifer, Breaking Bad, Friends or anything that we both find interesting. We may pick the show that we both haven't seen yet, or choose our favourite one (it's Sherlock for me).

There could be two scenarios: 1) we watch an episode together, commenting on it and duscussing after the episode has ended; 2) or we watch an episode on our own and then discuss it via Skype or italki.

Do you think it is an effective way of improving one's English?

I will recommend House of Cards for you. While it is a political show, but the drama is intense and the vocabulary is also advanced. You will definitely pick up some new words after watching this show.

I'm not a native english speaker, but if you are willing to know, i can provide you a website, where you and a native English speaker can watch a show together and even communicate on voice chat at the same time.

Hello! I haven't watched any of those shows enough to be able to discuss them with you(sorry), but if you want some suggestions I can give them to you. If you are an advanced English learner(it does sound really advanced) I would suggest watching documentaries such as Nova. The English on documentaries are really advanced, so I think it would help you:)

I think your way would be effective.
