я ЖИВУ здесь. Ударение на живу смешает смысл в сторону того, что у Вас здесь дом, семья, работа, и Вы тут не проездом.

я живу ЗДЕСЬ.Ударение на здесь позволяет Вам сказать, что именно в этом месте Вы живете, а не в каком-то другом.

 In Russian, the word order is relatively free, but it still can be used for the sake of the logical emphasis. When you say, "Я живу здесь", you emphasize that you live here and not work or study... When you stress, "Я живу здесь", you emphasize that you live here and not somewhere else.

In the same way, you can say: "Я здесь живу" (you emphasise that you live here (and not study or work here) – the logical stress falls on the last word in a sentence), or "Здесь живу я" - to emphasize that it's you and not somebody else who lives here.
