Education should be free for everyone, until thirth level. What do you think?

In my opinion, I would say, yes. Because education is the base to become in independent societies, a part of that all people have the chance to study and in that way, everybody will contribute with something to help to develop the societies and the world too. Education makes people be aware of the real world where everyone lives and what we are doing to make a better place or we are just making our world get worse. So that it is crucial to have the opportunity to study because education is the key to understand the real life we are living and how we are living. It is correct or not according to our environment. We are conscious of what will happen in the nearest features if we do not care about our plane.

Please. live your opinions. Thanks in advance.

The Universal Declaration of Human Rights states, in article 26,

"Everyone has the right to education. Education shall be free, at least in the elementary and fundamental stages. Elementary education shall be compul- sory. Technical and professional educa- tion shall be made generally available and higher education shall be equally accessible to all on the basis of merit."

In Western Europe education is free, in the sense that parents don’t have to pay tuition and the children mostly get books free, during the years that are considered obligatory. The system is financed by taxes, by that I mean general taxes that every adult has to pay, regardless if he has children or not.

i think that it is an excellent idea and it works well in most of the countries. Public schools have a fairly good level.

There is no 'Free' thing in the world. Someone pays. That's basic economics.

Vicrei, here it used to be free at ALL levels.

I must say, Soviet economy was not the best invention, it mostly failed and was inefficient.
Ony a few things were Great here.  Education particularly.

So given that free education CAN work, and given that "manufacturing" and "education" are very different things - I just think, commercialized education is a bad thing.

In addition to raising, an education is the basic process of human existence.
