1. "¿Dónde estamos?", pregunta María. 

if María asks the question to Pedro: "¿Dónde estamos?", le pregunta María a Pedro.

2. Le gusta la música.

3. Conduce hacia mi casa better, although the other one doesn't sound bad, either.

1. You say "Donde estamos?" when you want to ask a person who is with you or closer to you. The same goes for a group of people who is with you.

2. Te gusta la musica?

3. The expression "conduce a mi casa" does not sound bad because if you say that to someone, you will be understood. Also, this expression focuses on the place rather than the direction. The second one "conduce hacia mi casa" emphasizes direction because the word "hacia" has that purpose. Therefore, you can use both expressions.
