Many people believe that is dangerous (or unconfortable, not a good idea...) to travel to Iran as a woman, and more if it is alone.
Why?
Iranians, do you think that there is any difference between tourists men and women? Are they treated equally?
Others, do you think that Iran is dangerous or not to travel as a girl? Why?

it depend on where you go and when you go. the touristic places are safe and crowd. you should stay at hotels or hostels and not in people homes and you should travel by public transportation like bus not private cars.
it is better to have a accurate plan for your trip which cities and which touristic places. the destinations most of tourists is Shiraz. it is better to check the weather and temperature, it is really hot right now. morning until evening
