لا باس is used very widely in Morocco as well, as either a question (how are you/everything okay?) or an answer (everything's good)!

Q: كدايرة لا باس؟

A: لا باس الحمدلله شكرا

Hi Aliph, I'm not sure but I think that ma3lich come from ما عليه شيء
it have same meaning too: there is no thing bad here
it's used also in other dialects than Egyptian (I think I heard Algerian use it )

As Omar said معلش is from ما عليه شيء. Also عقبالك is from عُقْبَى لَكَ
I believe all Arabs use these expression in same way. So they are good terms to be known.
