Problem submitting a correction?

Hi,

Anyone else having a problem submitting Notebook corrections?

When the Notebook entry is long, after I correct it and hit the submit button nothing happens. The correction does not upload and I have no option other than to cancel and discard the correction.

For shorter corrections I don't have the problem.

I get the same problem on Windows 10 and Mac OS and on Firefox, Chrome and Explorer.

Any suggestions?

Note that any sort of formatting eats up a lot of characters....

When I encounter that kind of a problem, I just submit the correction in several parts and it works very well.

I think that it's even possible to copy the correction if it has any kind of formatting, so there is no need to do it all over again.

Hello Eamon, there is a limit to the number of characters in each discussion or notebook entry. If you exceed the limit, the text vanishes. My suggestion is to erase the latter part of the entry, and get to work on the first part, leaving the latter part to a later rewriting. Maybe someone has other suggestions ?
