I want to lose weight. My stomach is starting to bulge out.

What do you think is the best way to lose weight?

Create a diet you like. If you don't like it, you are more likely to give up after a short time. E.g. no snacks and soft drinks, light dinner and no food after 7pm. Make yourself some salads with tofu and eggs, fruits with yoghurt. Try to be vegetarian during the week and just have meat at weekends. It worked fine for me and I lost 5 kg within 10 weeks. Sports would be the icing on the cake ;)

You are a young man, your belly is only starting to bulge out, so I don't think it is a big problem for you. It's good though that you started to work to eliminate it when it is not a real problem. So what are the possible solutions to your problem? 
Diet as one of the solutions that was already mentioned. Unless you are a big eater or fast-food lover, and I don’t think that you are this kind of person, it is not an issue you need to care about. But if it has a place you need to visit a nutrition specialist or better a good doctor of dietology.
I think that in your case you need just to start to do sports or any kind of physical activities. Because for a young masculine body it is more important than a diet. 
    I would recommend you different physical outdoor activities, like walking, running or playing games like football and others. Why is it important to be in nature? Because it fills you with hormones like endorphins, dopamine, and serotonin that make you happy and charge you with good energy and enthusiasm. 
    When you go to the gym your goal is just to reduce the size of your belly. It is such a small thing to maintain your enthusiasm for a long time. This is the main reason that many people fail, because of the difficulty to push yourself to go to the gym every time. We don’t like to do a hard job if we are not passionate about it.

If you think you really need to lose some weight then I completely agree with Victor, the only right way is physical activities. You can start with walking. You don't even have to run. Just walk. The more you walk, the more you lose weight.

Try to eat natural foods and do a lot of walking. I lost 8 kilos in Russia, and it was mostly due to this. Its also important to put on a little muscle. So start doing some form of strength training. This will take a long time for results. And you will need to add more protein to your diet. Also: ease into it. If you start training too hard too fast it will lead to injuries. Its probably the same with diet. If its too harsh, you won't keep at it. A snack is fine, for example, just keep it in moderation.
