Do you know anyone who have taken the same class as you? You could probably ask them for past exams. Often teachers of a survey course rarely change their course material. Of course your exam is not going to be exactly the same as those past exams, but at least you could know what type of question will appear on the exams, if you are lucky enough, pinpoint some key terms or concepts.
Be advised you should check the regulation of your school before doing that as some school counts the behavior as cheating.
If it's an oral test, prepare your answers beforehand, have them proofread by a native speaker, then memorize them. At the entry level, the topic could only be chosen from those in your textbook.
