Hi Kate!

My students are mostly adults, and even they get bored sometimes (especially after a long working day) and just want to do smth fun. Check this video out https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_d-bTpqa8Ok It's a super fun game for teaching/ learning Chinese word order. Of course you can apply it not only to 主语 + 谓语 + 宾语 structures^^ It's up to you and your imagination

I always think of Chinese grammar in terms of math formulas, especially when trying to understand very long sentences, e.g. A (ba) B + verb.

I've been dwelling on the same issue for a long time. It worths the time to dig in due to the insane challenge of Chinese difficulties. Knowing from my experience, make it as much detailed as possible. You need to constantly create examples based on daily scenarios, as in, the utmost ordinariness of life moments, and do the best to make it vivid.
