Water fasting for the first time Some weeks ago, for the first time, I fasted. My first water fasting was for three days. During these three days, I only drank water. I did not eat any food. The first day of my fasting, I felt good, but I was hungry. The second day, I felt tired and weak. I wanted to sleep very much. My low back, head and legs ached. During the third day, I felt much better, but I had insomnia and I wast'n hungry. On the fourth day, I began to eat soft and little food, such as, vegetables, soups and juices. I must tell that, breaking  the fast is the part most difficult of this process, it will be with very care. For me, the water fasting was a good experience. What do you think about to "fast"? Had you ever fasted?

Ramadan is here in Iran. I'm observing fast for 30 day. No food, no water for nearly 15 hours a day. It's a time of personal peace.

It's going really well.

As semanah mentioned, it is Ramadan now so we fast for 30days. The fast experience is quiet benefiting spiritually and physically.
