Hard work always helps..heheh If to make a general cleaning at home, then I promise you will sleep like a baby..

I have not really had problems sleeping, I feel as if though I choose to stay awake, not that I cannot sleep. I am able to get to sleep quite easily when I want to, but when I feel I should and I cannot, I may have a light snack (the increase in insulin will knock me out sometimes. I know this is not the healthiest option, but it helps if it's only something light), write down anything that is worrying me (so I can worry about it when I wake up, I don't have to think about it while in bed; I know this sounds weird, but it actually works), or I read something really, really difficult to understand which normally tires me out mentally (and if I was able to understand it, then all the better -- I've learned something new!). If not, then I might stretch for a little bit which will normally relax me enough to get to sleep.

I find conjugating verbs makes me sleepy, also there are videos on youtube called "learn French (or whatever) while you sleep", if you listen to them either you will learn something or you will fall asleep.

I sleep really late even when I have university or classes to take early in the morning. I understand the flood of emotions at night that is why I don't lie on my bed until I am extremely sleepy I usually try to meditate or try to do yoga nidra. I completely understand how reading something or watching something sad or powerful can affect you. That is why it is important to detach yourself if you are an HSP or resolve emotions before going to bed. Also breathing and meditation will become easy with practice.

While I was waiting that somebody answer, I fall a sleep. ) And happy now to read  all suggestion. Tnank you! Phil, I don't mean, but if someone has this amazing ability, why not? ) We can chat.  I have active brain at night, as Ariana said. And I am very emotional. Sometimes I can not sleep becouse of emotional event, or something that I'd read or watched, what make me think a lot. I tried to meditate, thanks Alison, and I am still trying sometimes. But it's pretty hard not to think and concentrait on breathing.
