A lot of books. But today I was thinking about one Russian book 'Moscow-Petushki' by Venedikt Erofeev. It's about a man and his trip by train from Moscow to little town Petushki, where his beloved woman lives. During all this trip he is drinking a lot of alchohol, meet with other people, and talking this interesting, funny, sad and deep monologue. I was wondering, would foreign people understand this specific humor if they read, or it need to be Russian and grow up in this country for understanding.
