What is the best thing that has happened this year to you? Describe when, what and where.
I've been able to start learning French with an amazing language partner. She seems to have similar outlooks on life and is putting the same energy that I am into our lessons. We talk every day since we started learning, and it doesn't matter that she's 20 years younger. I think, she could be a great new best friend. She's learning English.
I received a prize for a language writing challenge, although I like the prize, it wasn't the best part, the part that made me the happiest was that I managed to stick to writing a paragraph in Spanish every day for a month and people were able to understand what I wrote.
Another thing that I was really happy about is that I reached 200 lessons on italki.
