Today my English teacher asked a question, 'If you could create a new holiday, what person or event would it honor and how would you want people to celebrate it?" I was thinking about a holiday for hardcore bachelors, something like Valentine's Day, but only for lonely people. For example in this day everybody should go out, it's like a huge date in the whole wold. People should have dinner in a restaurant, Cafe and gaze around. Maybe they should wear something special, for exampe, a red flower in their hair, or in the pocket of shirt for men. And if a man or women see someone interesting with a red flower, they know that this person is free and wait for someone. Maybe there will be something special for asking. Like childish question whith deep meaning, what means are you free, can I sit with you or you already have a couple? Maybe they can send to each others postcards, like on Valentine's Day and ask for attention, waitress will carry them, or it can be a little cake in the special shape. It will make a way for meeting and dating easier and a lot of shy people can find each other at this day. What do you think about this? Which holiday would you create?
