-게 indicates the purpose. 잠 좀 깨게 = 잠 좀 깨도록 = so I can wake up.
e.g.
- 전화 번호를 잊어버리지 않게 노트에 적어 놓았다.
- 내일 학교에 늦지 않게 일찍 잤다.
