I think that Babbel is a good app for learning languages :)
You pay a little for using the app but I think it's WAY (!!!!!) better than duolingo :) I used it a lot to learn German and I'll really recommend it. For example you get a lot of cultural insights and grammatical knowledge which is (due to me ;) ) totally lacking on many apps.

You can also
<ul><li>start listening to Norwegian music (search for "norsk musik" on Youtube) </li><li>see norwegian cartoons :P search for "norsk tegnefilm" (=Norwegian cartoon) on youtube for example :) </li><li> listen to norwegian Disney songs and read the English translations ;) </li></ul>

Oh... You should know that there are 2 variations of Norwegian by the way... "Bokmål" and "Nynorsk" :) I think that "Norwegian Bokmål" is what most people learn - and it's closer to Danish and Swedish than Nynorsk :)

Here's a Norwegian song which I really really like by the way ;)
<ul><li>"Bjørn Eidsvåg - Floden": <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXJlw0yDQ2A" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EXJlw0yDQ2A</a>; </li></ul>

I would go to youtube and try to watch a few videos (for example Ylvis, on TVNORGE's channel, usually the videos have english subtitles. You could also listen to music. There are countless of ways to learn a language, remember to have fun! I can send you a Spotify playlist if you're interested ;)
I reckon you want to learn bokmål, but I would also take a look at the different dialects. There are many funny compilations. I could recommend you this video: <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vauTloX4HkU&t=117s" target="_blank">https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vauTloX4HkU&t=117s</a>;
As you'll probably see for yourself, the host speaks very clearly and eloquently, perfect for a guy like you just starting out.

Norwegian isn't the hardest language to learn if you allready have good knowlegde around English.
It's easy to say if it's the native language ofcourse, but it's been proven that it's not the hardest atleast!

Grammar basics are pretty similar, its mostly pronunciation that needs work.

It's possible taking a course on Duolingo, or different youtube videos. Small country but lots of people that want to help. Good luck!
