How do you improve your writing skills, especially second language writing?
I've been learning English for many years, but my writing is really a mess. I just realize that in fact I have never specifically trained my writing skills. So I'm curious about how you guys sharpen writing skills, hmmm..Have a nice day

Writing skills can be improved easily if you are good with reading. If you read a lot of English text and articles, then you will be more acquainted with grammar rules and vocabulary.

The more you read, the more you get familiar with different writing styles. The next step would be writing about the same topics you've read before, using your own sentences...

Thank you for your suggestions! I guess that writing and reading more is the common way to improve writing skills. But I really agree with Barry's comment which reminds me that I need to focus my training on a particular genre at a time. I think it will be more efficient. Thank you again.
