For me ,I'd like to recommend a sci-fi movie "the Man from Earth". It's not the same type of the mainstream sci-fi movies like Avatar or the Revengers, cause there is not even any special effects in it. The excellence of this movie comes all from the dialogue and plot . If you are tired of the Hollywood sci-fi movies, see this movie and you may regain an understanding towards sci-fi movies.
