Wow, big question. So many to choose from.
I live and travel around Australia in a very old camping trailer from 1986. I love it due to it being easy and lite to travel with. It lowers the cost of fuel for the car towing it. I can also travel at faster speeds. I have a van to tow it with.
Be careful with large motorhomes as the engines may be worn out and very costly to repair.
Personally I think a campervan is the best option. Easy to drive. Most have all the equipment you need and a small toilet can be added. They have strong engines as vans are commercial vehicles and designed to do a lot of travelling.
Toyota Hiace, Mitsubishi Express , Ford Transits and VW vans are the most common. I myself have a Kia Grand Carnival as it is a van with a bigger engine and car like handling. It is much more comfortable on a long trip.
I hope this helps. Have fun
