The older version of the phone app did have a community section. It was quite easy to use the discussion forum with this. But the language partner search was well hidden.

I like that there’s more information about other users. In the old version the profiles were incomplete. But the language partner search is ridiculous now. It’s easy to find but the „native speaker“ button is completely useless since you can only look for languages a potential partner is learning.

Yeah, they got rid of the online status, both in the new app and the new beta website.

The updated version of the interface looks good but some experiences need to change (I can't see the user's online status or the filtering experience on the app is bad, it makes me confused back action and don’t save previous filter results, ....:(

You are so right- native speaker filter is useless; it doesn’t make sense if I have no option to choose the native language of the partner. Also, page loading is slower than the old version

I’m annoyed by it (some of the old features are gone), and I think the design looks worse with more white space.

When I first saw the new version I thought I’d downloaded the wrong app!
