Not really but I had the qualities even back then. Teaching is not my dream, now it became my passion.

I never planned to become a teacher.  Over time, I mentored junior engineers in work techniques and English for reports.  That morphed into volunteer work teaching English to refugees.  After I retired, I went back to university to get a teaching credential.  I enjoy working one-on-one to children and adults.  Once in a while, I drop students who are unusually difficult or who make no effort at all.

Yes. When I was a kid I had a chalkboard and magnet letters. Even a school desk. I'd invite the neighbor kids over and pretend to play 'school.' It was so much fun. I thought about being a substitute teacher in schools but I found out that was going to be a lot of work. But I'm happy being a tutor here.

I remember when I was young. I used to play role playing with my siblings and I always used to play the role of a teacher. At some point in my younger years I dreamt of becoming a teacher but it changed when I became an adult and I realised I want to become a psychologist. For some reasons, I wasn't able to pursue that dreams hence I became a teacher. I have been teaching now for about 8 years already and I am happy where my life is taking me right now. :)

I used to teach biology and chemistry but I never thought of choosing it as a profession. I always thought of working in a healthcare facility. I still can, but I will stick to teaching.
