Skills vary according to situations
Most learners that I have seen prioritize speaking and listening over reading and especially writing. The fact is, reading is the most permanent skill and writing is the most academic one while speaking and listening are the most everyday skills. A good classroom, as most of the scholars put it, involves traces of all the four skills while also focusing on pair-work, group-work, and whole class activities. Such being the case, do you think a writing class can encompass all such above mentioned criteria? and how?
