Free Monthly Short Story Club
Attention students who love stories and literature!

My next Short Story Club will be on Monday 4th May.
Come and join us via Zoom to discuss a very sweet story by a Trinidadian writer.

Before the session, read the story and come ready with some ideas to discuss.

I hope to see some new faces this month!

Thanks for the response. I think he might be able to handle The Lottery, but I'm pretty sure the non-standard English in The Sweet Sop would throw him for a loop.

Peter - B2 students should be capable of reading and discussing the stories. They normally range from 2-4,000 words. For authentic stories for B1 students, I would recommend Guy de maupassant, O Henry, or Saki. Their stories are slightly short and plot based.

Mark - To join the session, just log into the Zoom meeting at the time of the class. The details are on the Learn With Phil link.

Hello! I wanna to see it! How to do it? I should give some info about me or my zoom Id?

This is a great idea. Do you know of a similar activity for a student at the B1/B2 level? Thanks.
