Aside from your native language, what other languages did you learn in school?
What was a second language taught at your school (if any) growing up? Do you still speak the language?

English - and yes.
Latin (hated it) - wouldn't say I ever did speak it.

At Uni classical Greek (loved it) - never spoke that, either.

We had an option between Spanish and Latin. Being the lazy teenager I was, I opted for Latin as the teacher was a basketball coach who really wasn't to concerned about teaching. So, we really didn't learn much, and I never practiced outside of what was required to get by. Now that I've gotten serious about learning Spanish I'm really wishing I would have started back in high school.

I only had English classes at school. If you were particularly interested in languages, there were some schools that offered "Languages" as a specialization. I considered choose it for a while but I ended up choosing another specialization.

I went to an “international studies” school in my city. It offered many languages. I chose Spanish because I had the foresight to know it would be the most useful 2nd language for me here in the USA. It has come in extremely handy, both professionally and personally!

Hello, I'm from Argentina and in this country public schools teach English, but it is not very good because they take only 80 minutes per week. So I had to take an extra school course
