Are you emotionally closer to your mom or your dad?
I'm emotionally closer to my mom. My parents divorced when I was 7 years old. My father had some anger issues and he was a serious worrier of pretty much everything and anything. My mom is much more laid back and chill.

I'm close to both of them. We have different relationships, and there are different areas where closeness is different. My father and I struggle with certain health conditions; my mother cannot understand some of these issues. Yet, because I was brought up by my mother and grandmother, there are things that my father will never quite understand.

They both displayed love to me and did things for me. Both sacrificed greatly for me.

I have one simple rule for both of them: they are not allowed to die.

I am closer to my mother. She is the queen of my life. She devoted her life for the family that she built and she is well known in my community for her devotion.

When I was younger I was closer to my mom. My dad was always busy with work and traveling. As I got older I feel my relationship with my dad has changed and we become friends and talk to each other all the time. Also now I am working with him so maybe this is another reason why we became closer. Now I feel I am close to both of them.

Definitely my father, I remember when we first moved to Canada our favorite father son activity was eating tacos together. He and I would go to Taco Bell and order five Tacos each. We would sit in the car talk about life, eat and have an amazing time. I miss him.

Neither, unfortunately my father passed away when l was a child and l grew up without my mother. I live with her now but the bond just isn’t there.
