Shakespearean idioms suitable for IELTS task 2 essays: Idiom 1: "A sea change"
Meaning: "A dramatic change"

Example: Over the last few decades, there has been a sea change in attitudes towards residential care for elderly people. While in the past, it was mostly unacceptable, it is now very common in many countries.

Usage note: change IN something (not OF)
