It seems perfectly well formed and grammatically correct to me.
But we don't often use arrived in that sentence.
"She turned up unannounced and said she would be staying for a few days"
"She turned up unannounced and asked if she could stay for a few days"
"she arrived unexpectedly ---"
"she arrived at our doorstep -------"
A native English speaker would throw in a descriptive adjective or an idiom to add emphasise and detail to the story, it is fundamentally a gossip sentence.

"She showed up out of the blue and demanded to be taken in for a few days, well of course I said yes and helped out the poor girl but really, the brazenness of the girl was outrageous"

I think the meaning is clear but you would often use arrived with a place - such as she arrived at the airport - so in the context of your sentence it would be

she said that she had arrived at our house to stay for a few days.

a simpler version might be.

She said she had come to stay a few days with us.
