What topics do you use with your language partner to keep conversations flowing?
Actually it's a problem for me. I have many language partners on italki, but my problem is that I can't find interesting topics to talk about. At the beginning of the conversation with a language partner, we talk about general stuff, such as: books, movies, hobbies, etc. But then, we get stuck with asking the right questions or finding fun/interesting conversations later.
What topics do you use to talk about with your language partner? Do you prepare for a topic with your language partner to talk about the next time of conversation?
I would like to hear your thoughts about this.

I've had this issue before because I'm naturally more of an introvert. This is why I prefer lessons with teachers, as opposed to language exchanges. Thinking on the spot is not always ideal. You might consider googling conversation topics, and then reference that page whenever you're talking with language partners. Have something prepared in advance. Write something in your target language and have your partner correct you. The ideas are endless.

you can talk about culture, festival, transportation. Travel,difterent types of cuisine, online and mall shopping etc...
