Mental Health in time of covid-19
Has your mental health been affected ever since your country has imposed lockdowns or strict quarantine measures? How do you keep your mind healthy despite not being able to see your friends, relatives, or significant others? Do you think certain countries whose quarantine measures are more stringent, should be more lenient towards the mental health of the people in “quarantine” ?

Definitely. I was already going through a tough time before the lockdown. Then when the lockdown came around it really made things worse. I think I’m doing better now keeping busy on italki, but everyday is different.

I appreciate countries which are imposing tough restrictions. Mental health can be broken, but what's the worst case is when the cases are rising. For example in my country people are still not serious , youngsters visit some private parties, going to the secret barbershops , meanwhile doctors are fighting for each soul. States promises to open up the city by 10th of May, but this is more stressful to attend job place freely, knowing that the cases are still rising , people still walk around and blame the government. Yes, it is stressful to sit at home especially for extraverts, but at least you feel yourself safe as well as you know your family is safe . And maybe if EVERYONE were conscious and sit at home VERY STRICTLY, our mental health would be better off than knowing that the epidemic is still playing around due to these STUPID YOUNG CHILDREN WHO IS 20 YEARS OLD
