I have tried lessons with a few Italki teachers and I haven't found a bad one yet. I am currently studying Spanish. When searching for a teacher there are a few things I look for: Age, hobbies, how they appear in the video, and their reviews.
Everyone's idea of an "ideal" teacher would probably be different (example: I am a younger male with interest in things such as music, education, and I tend to be more introverted. I look at many teachers and find someone who meets mi criteria which normally is a younger male as well because I feel like there would be more in common.) For your mother I have seen some teachers that are older (maybe she would have an easier time learning with an older teacher because there could be more in common.) and for your daughters maybe someone who is a younger female that has a good grasp on English.
Try asking them some questions about a teacher they would feel comfortable with and then from there you can pick one. Feliz Aprendizaje!
