Pronounciation Improvement in English: I need a speech impediment specialist to help me
Are there any speech impediment specialists who would be interested in helping me improve my pronunciation?
Preferably British/Australian accent interests me. I am quite fluent in English, I hold speeches in English, but I would like to sound more as a professional.
I am working on my Norwegian in the same way, but I cannot find anyone in Oslo who does that in English.

Thanks everyone for commenting and for the advice. I do not have a speech impediment, but I know that a Speech Therapist could pinpoint what I could work on. :)

Is there a reason why you think you may have a speech impediment? It seems possble that straightforward elocution lessons might help you. And there's an (apparently) free Android app that might help, although of course it won't be perfect (is anything?) Have a look, if you like, at

You are unlikely to find a Speech Language Pathlogist here.
However, a few of the italki teachers have training in articulatory phonetics and phonology, and these teachers can help students to position the jaw, tongue and lips correctly to get a target sound.
Use FIND A TEACHER with the search filter PHONOLOGY. Then review the profiles and contact a few of them.

Articulatory phonetics is fundamental knowledge for all speech language pathologists. A small number of second language teachers have this knowledge which allows them to help students position their jaw, tongue and lips correctly for a target sound.
