When is a good time to start a new language
Right now I'm at B2/C1 in Italian, been studying the last 15 months, 3 months intense and last 12 at a normal pace.

I would like to start studying Portuguese formally from the beginning even though I can communicate at an intermediate level (I grew up with a Brazilian mother). The process shouldn't be difficult but my only real concern is that I don't affect my Italian (and vice versa).

I don't see it being a big deal since I have been very good at not injecting Portuguese words in my Italian. I'd like to be able to simultaneously build my knowledge in both without hurting the other.

At some point I would like to start studying Spanish which I don't know anything except a few words. I wonder when a good time would be to start that? I'm aiming at B2 for Portuguese.

Curious other people's thoughts and maybe those who have done the same!

I think I don't know how to answer your question hehehe but if you want to practice Portuguese and to change speaking in English it would be really cool
