I'd choose Italian and German. I'd like to learn these languages (indeed, I've recently started learning German) because of their cultures. Germany has given many important scientists to the world and as a science student, I find this admirable.
Italian because I'm fond of Italian culture but also because of 'emotional' reasons. My country received many Italian immigrants in the past and even some of my recent ancestors were from that country, that makes me feel somewhat close to Italy.

Swahili! The most widely spoken language in Africa.
I would love Portuguese, also a very widely spoken language in the world and Africa.
Japanese - because Anime!
German - great language, I love ze Germans.
French - Widely spoken in Africa - in case you haven't noticed, I LOVE AFRICA!
Lingala - also widely spoken in Africa and a lovely language.
Zulu & Xhosa - native to my homeland, gotta do it!
Italian - love all you Latins :)

I chose Korean ten years ago because it has a phonetic alphabet and because it was very different from English. I also like the way it sounds, and love the food.
Cantonese also sounds beautiful to me, so I would like to study that.

I´d like to learn English, because Spanish I konw like native, and Chinesse is very dificult and for me less interesting than English
