For a change
Can I use the phrase For a change sarcastically? Like for example:
The flight was cancelled for a change! (Having in mind that this airline tends to get complaints about its bad service)

I think you can use the phrase "for a change" sarcastically, but it would have to be said differently...

"It'd be nice of them not to cancel a flight, for a change..."

You can also say "for a change of pace."

"Let's book a flight with a good airline for a chance of pace."

Or try these similar phrases:

"What else is new" (?)
"The flight was cancelled - what else is new..."

"Go figure"
"The flight was cancelled - go figure..."
