I guess people have different ways of learning a language. There's no right or wrong way. What works for me might not necessarily work for other people. Anyway, I prefer to learn in a structured way and I usually follow a coursebook. I read out loud and use online dictionaries to check the pronunciation of each term. When I start to learn a new language I prefer to have a teacher that can help me with the basics. As I start to feel more confident I tend to listen to many videos and do grammar exercises. Finally, what really helps me in the end is to have a language partner to practise with.
