How hard is it for you to say "I was wrong"?

With my girlfriend we have a discussion then we come to the conclusion that I was wrong. (100% of the time even when I'm right I'm still wrong)

It depends on situation. It is pretty difficult to make me say this phrase when I am at work. I consider myself as an experienced professional and respected instructor. That could be a reason to it.

Another thing is when I discuss different topics. If I feel like I could be wrong, I show signs of hesitation and say this: you are right.

It is easier to say than " I was wrong ".

More difficult than I would like to admit sometimes, but also far easier than for many people. Humans seem to be awfully attached to the idea of their own infallibility, but I think that a bit of humility about your own failings shows far greater intelligence than pretending to be right all the time.
