Covid-19 and the government

We have agreed among friends to rule out the word "unprecedented" because it is being overused. They needed to close the schools, and they did. They tried to avoid overwhelming the hospitals by flattening the curve- we almost have. But I think they are treating it like, ok, its over now! Let's get back to work! I don't think we have a well laid out plan, and so many people are not respectful enough of others here... People are acting like others are crazy, just because they wear masks and/or gloves. I'm tired of reading social media comments that are ugly to each other. My government is in an election year, so I don't think they have our peoples' interests at heart. Just trying to get reelected.

Thanks @Julie i have been following the news and how the USA has been doing. Not everyone will be happy with the government no matter what! I definitely think in all countries there are people who have been diligent and done their part and then some really selfish people who refuse to see the bigger picture and what we are truly dealing with.

Im from México and diferents countries maybe depends of point of view of each person. Personal y I think in México the goverment is doing the best effort, however there are people thinking different...
