Hi, can anyone tell me whether or not the sentence below sounds natural?
"I love being in the process of not understanding or being confused about something until I reach the point that I can understand it."
Please feel free to comment on it. I want to sound more natural in English.

How about this:
I love the whole process for gaining understanding - from the beginning when I’m confused to the point when I finally understand it.

I would say
"I enjoy being in a state of unfamiliarity or having questions, this is because I enjoy finding the answers".
