At the moment I'm reading The Lost World of the English author Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. It tells the story of an expedition in the Brazilian Amazon to find a plateau where still lies prehistoric creatures. I'm at the half of the book, it's a great novel. And you? What are you reading?

See you around.

I finished Wolf Haas' "Das ewige Leben" last night. Highly recommend it. Not sure what I'll read next, maybe another Haas book, I quite enjoy his quirky style.

I've started reading Mr Sammler's Planet by Saul Bellow. I should say started again. I bought it in a little second-hand bookshop in Sydney while I was travelling, not realising that it required quite a lot of focus. I had to stop. I decided to try again now and I'm thoroughly enjoying it.

Are you reading The Lost World in English? If so, are you reading the full Conan Doyle version, or an adaptation for learners?
