Who's using Expatrio in Germany right now?
I'm about to go to school to Germany in October. As visa requirement, I have set up a blocked account at Expatrio and am ready to transfer 11,000 dollars to this account. That's all the money I have and so I'm very nervous about it. I don't know if this Expatrio account I have is even real: when I downloaded the contract it is written in such strange English that it doesn't even look like a real legal document. How do I even know that I have singed up a real bank account since I merely did it online? I'm just wondering if anybody here is a foreign student in Germany using Expatrio right now. Can you share your experience with me? I want to hear from other users before I transfer all the money I have to a strange account which I have merely opened online.

Yes I know about Deutsche Bank. I didn't want to use it because the process is too complicated.

You can open a blocked account via a known German bank such as Deutsche Bank.
